ARE YOU INSURANCE APPROVED?

 

Yes, we are proud to be an insurance approved vehicle repairs specialist. We work for all insurance companies. However, some insurance companies may still make you take your car to their choice of repairer not just an approved repairer.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT you?

 

The best way to contact us is via phone. Our workshop is preferably by appointment only. Our business is open from 7-5 but our office is mostly managed between 9-3. We have a call forward system in place for after those hours. If you experience any difficulty getting onto us via phone, please send us an email as we have access to email 24/7.

 

 

ARE YOU OPEN WEEKENDS?

 

Yes, we are open Saturdays 8-1 by appointment.

 

 

WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE?

 

We service, Ballina, Lennox, Byron, Lismore, Goonellabah, Wollongbar Alstonville, Evans head, wardell and all areas between.

 

Do you have a 24 hour service?

We don’t have towing vehicle, but we work closely with Ballina Tow Trucks who will hold your vehicle for us until we can get it in the workshop.

 

CAN YOU MATCH MY PAINT COLOUR?

Yes, North Ballina smash repairs are capable of matching your paint colour. We can get a perfect colour match by obtaining appropriate information from the car factory , using our state of the art spectrometer tool and a computerised paint mixing system.


WILL YOU REPLACE THE PANEL OR REPAIR IT?

We will choose whichever method is going to get the best finish to make the vehicle look at close to factory as possible, with the least amount of filler as possible. It quite often will depend on the extent the damage and where the damage is on the car.


HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO REPAIR MY CAR?

Repair times will always vary, it is best to ask us when you book your car in for repairs and we can give you a good idea on timeframes then. There is always a chance timeframes can change as once we dismantle there may be more parts required or if we find additional damage we will need more repair time. We will always update you if this occurs. Generally a new front or rear bumper repair or swap over takes two days, most jobs will be a minimum of two days to make sure we allow sufficient paint drying times.


WHO DO I PAY EXCESS TO?

This depends on the insurer, they will generally advise you at the time of making the claim whether it us the repairer or payable direct to them prior the repairs being completed. If we, as the repairer need to collect the excess, this needs to be done before you leave with your vehicle.


CAN I GET A HIRE CAR THOUGH INSURANCE?

Hire car option is generally an extra in an insurance policy. You should ask if you have this option while you are making a claim. If you are a third party claimant and NOT AT FAULT, and claim through the persons at fault insurance, you will generally be given a hire car. If not, we can get you a hire car from a company whom will not charge you, but will charge the insurance company of the person at fault. If you are at fault but you don’t have hire car in your policy, we may be able to lend you one of our loan cars, if you meet the criteria.


DO YOU HAVE LOAN CARS?

Yes, we have a couple of loans cars which we are more then happy to lend you if you meet the criteria. Please don’t hesitate to ask!


WHAT IS PDR? DO YOU OFFER HAIL/PDR REPAIR SERVICES.

PDR stands for paintless dent removal. It is an environmentally-friendly repair method that restores a vehicle’s body to factory-like condition in a fraction of the time at a fraction of the cost. PDR can be used to remove dings and dents from vehicles, as well as body creases and hail damage. Yes, we offer this service.


IS THERE WARRANTY ON THE WORK?

YES, we are proud to warrant our work here at NBSR. Parts come with a warranty from the supplier and we warrant our repair and paint work.


DO YOU CHARGE FOR QUOTES?

No, we will give you an estimate for the repairs Free of Charge.


HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY CAR IS FINISHED?

We will call you as soon as your car is put back together with an estimated pickup time. We will also keep you updated if we need the car for longer then anticipated, but please don’t be scared to give us a call for an update if you need one sooner or more frequently then we can provide.


HOW WILL I GET HOME?

If you live locally and do not have a hire car, we will happily offer you a ride a home.
